S Korea science ministry checks preparations for Ulchi exercise with 32,000 participants
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT said on Tuesday it completed a final check of preparations for the 2026 Ulchi exercise, set to run from Aug. 18 to Aug. 21. The ministry held a preparation briefing meeting and reviewed drill plans and readiness by each organisation. About 32,000 people are to take part, including ministry staff, affiliated agencies and firms classified as key management targets.
