KB Financial Group, health ministry move to close nighttime childcare gaps
KB Financial Group and the Ministry of Health and Welfare visited the Chamirang Community Child Center in Seoul on Jan. 29 to inspect operations of an extended nighttime childcare programme and hear field feedback. Implementing agencies, including the Korea Institute for Children’s Rights, attended. The programme began full operations on Jan. 5 at 360 selected centres from about 5,500 nationwide. KB Financial plans to sponsor 6 billion won from 2026 to 2028 for infrastructure and safety support.
