Samsung SDS says second-quarter cloud revenue rises 17 percent, external business up 75 percent
Samsung SDS on Wednesday reported preliminary second-quarter revenue of 3.72 trillion won and operating profit of 231.8 billion won. Revenue rose 5.9 percent from a year earlier and operating profit increased 0.7 percent. IT services revenue rose 5 percent to 1.76 trillion won, with cloud revenue up 17 percent to 779.4 billion won. External cloud business revenue climbed 75 percent.

Samsung SDS says cloud is biggest share of IT services revenue, to invest 10 trillion won by 2031
Samsung SDS on Wednesday reported preliminary first-quarter revenue of 3.35 trillion won and operating profit of 78.3 billion won. Revenue fell 3.9 percent from a year earlier, while profit slid 70.8 percent after it booked a 112.0 billion won retirement benefit provision following a change in severance pay calculation standards. Cloud revenue rose 5.8 percent to 690.9 billion won, becoming the largest share within IT services.

Samsung SDS says three trends to watch in agentic AI supply chain era
Samsung SDS held the Cello Square Conference 2026 at its Pangyo logistics campus on April 2 under the theme of the agentic AI supply chain era. It invited about 120 shippers, including manufacturers and retailers, to share strategies to respond to global supply chain risks and key trends and cases. Samsung SDS said it identified 10 trends using generative AI analysis and distilled three core insights for logistics.
