Kubernetes GPU average utilisation stays at about 5 percent, CPU at 8 percent
An analysis of data from tens of thousands of Kubernetes clusters found average utilisation of GPUs at 5 percent, CPUs at 8 percent and memory at 20 percent, TechZine reported, citing a Cast AI survey. The report said the result was paradoxical given Kubernetes is meant to run large infrastructure efficiently. Cast AI said one-off resource sizing is a root problem and argued for autonomous, continuous optimisation.
