Younglimwon SoftLab steps up employee-led upgrade of AI ERP
Enterprise software company Younglimwon SoftLab is speeding up efforts to link employee-led AI use to upgrades of its ERP products. The company said on Sept. 7 it set up a dedicated organisation to handle AI transformation strategy, technology development and operations, internal deployment and product upgrades. It is expanding AI functions such as auto data entry from documents and images, business briefings and automation, and is running training, pilots and workshops to gather feedback.

Webcash targets financial AI market, aims for 50 billion won revenue by 2030
Webcash plans to expand its financial AI business around agent banking, fiscal AX and an AI accounting service, and set a goal of reaching 50 billion won in AI revenue by 2030. The company said it held an AI business briefing for major domestic institutional investors in Seoul on July 22 and presented a strategy for five financial AI businesses. Vice Chairman Yoon Wan-soo outlined market entry plans and progress by business line.

Tighten oversight of bulk text messaging providers; briefing session to be held
A briefing session will be held to help businesses understand a system under which the government will pre-certify capabilities to prevent illegal spam ahead of its launch. The Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Communications Commission said they will hold an April 28 event in Seoul with the Korea Internet & Security Agency. Officials will explain how to apply for certification, screening procedures, tighter registration requirements and plans for annual checks.
