Webcash plans to expand its financial AI business around agent banking, fiscal AX and an AI accounting service. It set this year as the first year of revenue generation in the related business. It also presented a goal of achieving 50 billion won in AI revenue by 2030.
Webcash said on July 23 that it held an "AI business briefing" on July 22 at Fairmont Ambassador Seoul in Yeouido, Seoul, for major domestic institutional investors and announced a strategy for "five financial AI businesses".
Webcash Vice Chairman Yoon Wan-soo (윤완수) explained plans to enter the artificial intelligence transformation (AX) market in finance and the progress of each major business.
The five businesses disclosed by Webcash include "agent banking", which applies AI agents to corporate banking at financial institutions, "fiscal AX", which automates fiscal and fund operations at public institutions, and a vibe-coding platform called "AXPort" that supports corporate employees in building work automation solutions.
They also include an AI accounting service called "Gyeongri365" for small corporations and venture companies, and "AI MIS", which retrieves and analyses financial institution information systems data in natural language.
Webcash explained that it secured orders and application cases in agent banking, fiscal AX and AI MIS in the first half of this year. The company designated 2026 as the first year in which financial AI business revenue begins in earnest, and plans to expand the business to financial institutions, public institutions and corporate customers. Over the mid to long term, it set a target of 50 billion won in AI revenue by 2030.
"Webcash is transforming its business structure from a business-to-business (B2B) fintech company into a financial AI company," Yoon said. "We will expand AI services that can be used in the financial field," he said.
