Broadcast media and telecom panel appoints 45 special committee members in five areas
The Broadcast Media and Telecommunications Deliberation Commission held a plenary meeting on Sept. 21 and appointed 45 members to special committees in five areas, it said. The statutory committees cover broadcast advice, advertising advice, broadcast language, telecommunications advice and rights protection, with nine members each. The commission named chairs for each committee and said members were drawn from academia, the legal profession, media and medicine. Members serve from Oct. 1 to Sept. 30, 2027, for one year.
