MSIT launches BCI alliance, aims to commercialise products by 2035
South Korea has launched a public-private consultative body to build a brain-computer interface (BCI) industry ecosystem and support technology development and demonstrations, with a goal of commercialising BCI products by 2035. The Ministry of Science and ICT held the launch ceremony for the BCI Alliance in Seoul on Aug. 26. The alliance will operate under joint chairs from the government and private sector and run three working groups covering R&D, commercialisation and ecosystem building.
