Bitcoin ETF inflows jump after Coldcard hack, link unclear
U.S. spot bitcoin exchange-traded funds have drawn about $620 million in inflows on every trading day since a hack involving Coldcard wallets, Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 6. The timing has prompted speculation that some investors may be shifting from self-custody to regulated investment products. Bloomberg senior ETF analyst Eric Balchunas said several bitcoin ETFs and a leveraged MSTR ETF logged net inflows on all trading days after the hack.
