Strategy shares fall below $100 for first time since March 2024
Strategy shares fell below $100 on June 24 for the first time since March 2024, down more than 80 percent from a peak near $474 last November. Bitcoin Magazine said the drop signals renewed scrutiny of the company’s bitcoin-focused financial strategy. Bitcoin trades around $61,000, below Strategy’s average purchase price of about $75,656. The company holds 847,363 BTC, valued at about $53 billion, against total investment around $64 billion.

U.S.-listed Nakamoto exits healthcare business, completes shift to bitcoin operations
Nakamoto, a Nasdaq-listed company, has ended its medical clinic operations, effectively completing its shift to a bitcoin-focused business. The company said its clinic closed on June 19 and that remaining administrative procedures will be completed in the third quarter of 2026. Nakamoto plans to focus on bitcoin holdings and its media, asset management and advisory businesses. It posted a first-quarter net loss of $238.8 million and holds 4,467 bitcoin.

Mexican billionaire says bitcoin will hit $1 million but timing unknown
Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas says he has allocated about 70 percent of his personal investment portfolio to bitcoin, up from about 10 percent in October 2020. He says bitcoin is superior to fiat currency and the gold standard because it is harder to seize and can be transferred instantly worldwide. He says he expects bitcoin to reach $1 million, though he does not know when.
