Steak \'n Shake says same-store sales at franchise partners up 19 percent after bitcoin payments
U.S. restaurant chain Steak \'n Shake said same-store sales at its franchise partner outlets were up 19 percent year on year so far in the third quarter after it introduced bitcoin payments. The company disclosed the figure on X, though it has not been verified in a filing by parent Biglari Holdings and the quarter is not over. Biglari has reported higher same-store sales in the first and second quarters.
