Beijing tightens drone rules to ban ownership as well as flights
Beijing will sharply tighten drone regulations, extending restrictions from flight limits to bans on possession and storage. Residents must dispose of drones they already own or move them outside Beijing before the rules take effect on Nov. 15. Revised regulations prohibit keeping drones and key parts across the city and restrict transporting or bringing them in from elsewhere. Violators may face confiscation and fines.
