Backpack launches integrated trading platform for U.S. stocks and tokenised securities
Backpack, a cryptocurrency exchange founded by former FTX employees, has launched Backpack Securities, a platform that combines traditional stock trading with tokenised securities. The service lets users buy, hold and sell U.S. stocks through regulated brokerage infrastructure and convert shares into blockchain tokens. CEO Armani Ferrante (아르마니 페란테) said stock ownership and blockchain access are two pillars of one financial system. The platform integrates brokerage and Solana-based tokenisation services.
