Woori Bank launches loan for exporters, raises facility funding limit up to 15 percent
Woori Bank launched a loan product for exporters to ease funding burdens by providing up to a 15 percent additional facility-loan limit and preferential interest rates and foreign-exchange fees. The bank said the product targets companies with a certain credit rating and export performance within the past year. It said firms using Korea Trade Insurance Corp export credit guarantees can receive additional rate benefits at branches.

Woori Financial opens financial town in Jeonbuk Innovation City
Woori Financial Group has opened the Jeonbuk Woori WON Financial Town in Jeonbuk Innovation City, completing the presence of the four major financial groups’ regional hubs there. The complex brings together functions spanning capital markets, corporate finance and inclusive finance, housing units from Woori Asset Management, Woori Bank and other affiliates. Woori plans to supply 1.6 trillion won in funding to local small firms and merchants by 2030.

Woori Financial says it will help build North Jeolla financial hub
Woori Financial Group said on Wednesday it plans to build financial infrastructure in North Jeolla Special Self-Governing Province around key affiliates in asset management, banking and insurance, aligning with the government’s balanced development policy. It also plans to expand its DINNOLab startup programme, supply funds to local small businesses and self-employed people, and widen social contribution efforts including Goodwill Store outlets and a community shop initiative.
