Aave ends Avara, to phase out Family wallet and focus on DeFi
Aave Labs is ending the Avara project and will phase out its Family cryptocurrency wallet, Cointelegraph reported on Feb. 4. Aave founder Stani Kulechov said on X that Avara was no longer needed and the company would focus on bringing Aave to a wider audience. Family is an iOS-based wallet that supports storing and transferring cryptocurrencies. Cointelegraph said Aave is also strengthening a DeFi-focused strategy.
