Enterprise software industry counters AI threat claims with bold AI agent strategy

AI chip war enters new phase as Nvidia challengers step up offensive
Big cloud companies are stepping up attacks on the AI chip market dominated by Nvidia, extending efforts from inference into model training. Meta signs a multiyear deal to rent Google’s TPU and discusses bringing TPU into its data centres from next year. Amazon strengthens cooperation with OpenAI around AWS and its Trainium chip. Nvidia plans to unveil a new inference-focused chip in March and outlined an AI-native 6G vision using AI-RAN.

ServiceNow launches \'Autonomous Workforce\' AI specialists
ServiceNow on Feb. 27 said it has launched an AI “Autonomous Workforce,” a set of AI specialists designed to carry roles, permissions and governance needed for enterprise work and to operate autonomously. The company said it deploys AI specialists with defined roles as a team to handle processes end to end. It also introduced a Level 1 service desk AI specialist and unveiled ServiceNow EmployeeWorks two months after completing its Moveworks acquisition.
