Arm revamps silicon development program to expand startup support
Arm is revamping its silicon development program to broaden support for startups, expanding its product portfolio and simplifying membership, it said on Feb. 9. The company added the Ethos-U85 NPU, Corstone-320 reference design platform and Cortex-M52 processor to Arm Flexible Access. It also raised the funding cap for eligible startups to $50 million and lifted the annual revenue threshold to $5 million. A single annual fee of $85,000 provides access, including unlimited tape-outs.
