U.S. must declare bitcoin a true strategic asset, not just back it
A bitcoin industry figure said the United States will eventually reach a stage where it provides the institutional environment needed for bitcoin to succeed, even if it takes 10 or 20 years. Former Trump administration crypto adviser David Bailey said support alone is insufficient and policymakers must make more progress in implementation. He said it remains unclear how the strategic bitcoin reserve operates and how much the government holds, with Arkham Research estimating about 378,372 BTC.
