AWS boosts log analytics performance on Amazon OpenSearch Service at no extra cost
Amazon Web Services is rolling out a new log analytics engine for Amazon OpenSearch Service, SiliconANGLE reported on Tuesday. The engine cuts data storage costs by an average 70 percent and doubles data ingestion throughput. AWS said it can also double analytics query speeds without changing hardware configurations. The engine is offered as a selectable mode within an OpenSearch Service domain and is available from Tuesday in all AWS regions that support OpenSearch-optimized instances.
