Samsung SDI to supply ESS to U.S. AOP, reaching 1.5 GWh cumulative
Samsung SDI will supply additional energy storage system solutions to U.S. energy company Alpha Omega Power, it said on Oct. 26. Samsung SDI America signed a contract to supply 1 GWh of ESS solutions, bringing the total volume to 1.5 GWh including a first tranche agreed at the end of last year. AOP plans to use the products in a large power project in Texas next year.
