Shinsegae Group said it signed an MOU with Alibaba International in Beijing to expand the reverse direct purchase market. The agreement was signed during a Korea-China business forum hosted by the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade. The two companies will cooperate to supply South Korean products found by Shinsegae to overseas consumers via Alibaba’s global e-commerce platforms. They aim to expand into South Asia and Southern Europe in 2026 and target more than 1 trillion won in annual transaction value within five years.
