New post office agency head Park In-hwan puts fixing structural deficit top priority
Park In-hwan, the new head of South Korea’s Postal Service, set eliminating structural losses as his top priority and said he will use AX to overhaul the organisation. He said the postal business is seeing declining revenue and a rigid cost structure, while profit in financial services is stagnating. Park said he will reform processes, expand profitable services using the post office network and upgrade asset management. He also plans an AX 2030 project and legal and institutional changes.
