MegazoneCloud joins AWS Partner Agent Factory, develops 3 enterprise AI agents

MegazoneCloud said on Aug. 18 it joined Amazon Web Services\' Partner Agent Factory program and co-developed three enterprise AI agent solutions with AWS. The company said the program is run by AWS\' Generative AI Innovation Center and focuses on joint development of enterprise AI agent solutions with partners. The products include an AI agent governance platform, an AI-based multilingual document translation solution and an AI video intelligence solution that analyzes both on-screen visuals and audio.

OpenAI, AWS and GitHub back agent plugin standard

OpenAI, AWS, Cursor, GitHub and Microsoft have voiced support for Agent Plugin 1.0.0, a reusable portable package standard for expanding AI agents. A report said the vendor-neutral open standard, led by agent infrastructure firm Vercel, combines AI agent skills and MCP servers into a single deployable plugin that can be moved across clients or runtimes. Some engineers warned about governance and permissions risks, while others called it progress for enterprise adoption.

DeepSeek Harness spreads in developer community as plug-in-based design draws attention

DeepSeek\'s open-source AI agent runtime, DeepSeek Harness, is spreading quickly in developer communities after receiving positive reviews. Built on Node.js and released under the MIT licence as a developer preview on GitHub, it gained more than 33,000 stars within hours of launch, a report said. It features an “everything is a plug-in” design and offers four execution modes, while supporting multiple AI platforms.
