Lablup joins Linux Foundation\'s Agentic AI Foundation as silver member

Lablup said on May 18 it will join the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), an open-source agentic AI foundation under the Linux Foundation, as a silver member. AAIF was jointly founded in December 2025 by Anthropic, Block and OpenAI and is operated by the Linux Foundation. Lablup plans to take part in adopting the MCP standard, contributing agent infrastructure technology and expanding Korea’s open agent ecosystem.

Cerebras IPO surge focuses Wall Street money on SpaceX and OpenAI

AI chip designer Cerebras Systems surged about 70 percent on its first day of trading, signalling renewed investor interest in U.S. technology IPOs. Its debut lifted its market value to about $95 billion, marking the biggest U.S. IPO this year and the largest tech listing since Uber in 2019. Analysts also see a widening concentration of capital on mega-sized candidates such as SpaceX, OpenAI and Anthropic, while non-AI software companies face weaker demand.

Cohesity expands support for cyber vault solution across core backup platform

AI-based data security company Cohesity said it is expanding AWS Seoul Region support for its cloud cyber vault solution, Cohesity FortKnox, to include DataProtect after NetBackup. The company said FortKnox isolates backup data in a separate cyber vault to protect core data from ransomware and insider threats, and supports rapid, secure recovery using verified data after an attack. Cohesity plans to present ways for Korean companies to strengthen cyber resilience at AWS Summit Seoul 2026.
