Baek Kyung-hoon meets Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang to discuss AI cooperation
Baek Kyung-hoon (배경훈), deputy prime minister and science and ICT minister, met Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang in Seoul on Sunday to discuss cooperation to expand domestic computing infrastructure and grow the physical AI ecosystem. They agreed Korea and Nvidia should turn cooperation built after last year’s APEC CEO Summit into tangible outcomes. Baek asked for support to bring in 260,000 GPUs and 추진 an AI factory based on Nvidia’s Vera Rubin NVL72 within the year.
