24K gold fanless mini PC debuts with $1.7 million price tag
French PC maker Kubb has produced a custom fanless mini PC with a case made from solid 24K gold. The unit, based on the company’s fanless mini PC, is a 120 mm cube and uses its case as a heatsink to vent CPU heat without a cooling fan. The gold version weighs about 13 kg and costs about $1.7 million, far above the standard model’s 1,595 euros.
