Ceragem hands over management control to professional manager, gifts 10 percent stake
Ceragem said on Monday that its founder has begun a succession process to hand management control to a professional manager rather than a blood relative. The company said Chairman Lee Hwan-sung adopted CEO Lee Kyung-soo as an adult child and decided to transfer his stake. Ceragem said it completed a first-stage transfer this year by gifting 10 percent of issued shares to Lee and filed gift taxes. The adoption process was completed in 2025.

Ceragem\'s smartphone healthcare app has shifted from a product control tool to an AI-based health management platform. The company said it has relaunched its IoT application with AI recommendation features. The overhaul includes a full redesign of the user experience, with menus reorganised around seven care categories such as spine care, exercise care and energy care. The app has about 96,000 cumulative downloads.

Ceragem to cooperate with Samsung Medical Center on AI healthcare
Ceragem said on Wednesday it signed a memorandum of understanding with Samsung Medical Center to develop future health management services and build an integrated healthcare ecosystem linking hospitals and homes. The two sides plan to cooperate on co-developing personalised health management services, building a preventive care system based on digital healthcare and advancing senior healthcare services. They also plan joint research including clinical studies, participation in government R&D projects and upgrades to smart wards.
