Ceragem's smartphone healthcare app has shifted from a product control tool to an AI-based health management platform. Ceragem said on Aug. 6 it has relaunched its IoT application with AI recommendation features.

The overhaul includes a full redesign of the user experience. It reorganised its previously product-focused menu around '7-care' categories such as spine care, exercise care and energy care. It changed the structure so customers can find services based on their health goals. The app has about 96,000 cumulative downloads.

The AI recommendation feature works for members who have linked their 'Master V Collection' products. It analyses product usage history from the past week to suggest massage modes and health routines suited to the individual. For members with no usage history, it provides recommended modes based on average usage patterns for the same age group and gender.

It also added a weather-linked feature. Based on real-time weather information, the app provides situation-specific health management guidance and suggests daily health routines suited to seasonal and temperature changes. The app icon and intro screen apply an 'AI' design with a home motif.

A Ceragem official said the key was to keep existing product control functions while adding AI-based recommendations and lifestyle-focused health content so customers can manage their health more easily and systematically in daily life. The official said it will continue to do its best to provide an optimised health management experience for each customer based on AI and data, and to build an 'AI wellness home' ecosystem.
