Samsung Electronics is running its air conditioner production lines at full capacity to respond faster to rising demand, supported by forecasts of intense heat and popularity of its 2026 model new products. The company has operated the air conditioner lines at its Gwangju plant at full capacity since February. In March, it carried out a month-long pre-season air conditioner inspection service. It will also run a 10th anniversary WindFree promotion in April.

Samsung Electronics and LG Electronics are appearing side by side at Europe’s largest heating, ventilation and air-conditioning exhibition in Milan to showcase residential and commercial solutions. Samsung is holding a joint display for the first time with FlaktGroup, acquired in November. LG unveiled its integrated heat pump total solution for Europe. Both companies highlighted R32 and R290 refrigerants, new indoor units and commercial systems, including products for data centres and large spaces.
