KAIST holds 2026 undergraduate admission ceremony
KAIST held its 2026 undergraduate admission ceremony on Tuesday at its main campus in Daejeon. President Kwang Hyung Lee said the university has grown on a spirit of challenge and inquiry, and urged students to open new paths even after setbacks. About 1,500 people, including freshmen and parents, attended. Freshman representative Junseop Shin spoke of choosing research on small-drone detection technology. KAIST also introduced its AI Future Challenge.
