KT, Samsung Electronics test AI wireless network tech at baseball stadium, cut traffic imbalance 34 percent
KT said on Monday it verified wireless network autonomous operations technology with Samsung Electronics at Suwon KT Wiz Park using its digital twin platform AI Cell Twin. The platform recreates a real wireless network in a virtual space to test operating options. In a three-month trial starting in July, traffic concentrated on specific base stations was dispersed to nearby ones. Traffic imbalance between base stations improved by up to 34 percent and concentrated load fell by up to 16 percent.
