An F5 Korea executive said many companies run AI proof-of-concept projects but few move to production because they are not prepared to strengthen and maintain security. He said AI security differs from traditional security because prompts can pose risks and sensitive data can leak even without vulnerabilities. F5 is expanding AI security offerings and argues firms need controls at the front door, orchestration and inference stages, along with an integrated platform approach.

Selectstar said on Wednesday it operated AI safety training and a red team challenge at the 2026 Financial Security AI Academy Camp hosted by the Financial Security Institute and sponsored by KakaoBank. The programme, aimed at boosting AI and security skills in finance, ran from July 20 to 22 at the Kakao AI Campus in Yongin, south of Seoul, with 50 university and graduate students participating.
