ADTechnology to hire 50 design engineers to meet ASIC demand
ADTechnology said on Thursday it selected 50 design engineers through its 2026 public recruitment programme, up about 67 percent from 30 a year earlier and its largest intake on record. The hiring aims to respond to rising demand for custom AI ASICs, it said. About 1,000 people applied, for a roughly 20-to-1 ratio. The hires will work in semiconductor design and firmware design after training and OJT programmes.

ADTechnology hits 3.695 GHz using Samsung 2-nanometre process
ADTechnology achieved a 3.695 GHz clock speed with its HPC CPU, ADP620, built on Samsung Electronics\' foundry 2-nanometre process. The company unveiled the design result and its mass-production roadmap on May 29 at the Samsung Semiconductor Campus in San Jose during the Samsung Foundry SAFE Forum 2026. It said its CAPELLA optimisation platform and POLK IP library improved chip-level power, performance and area efficiency.

ADTechnology wins chiplet design order for U.S. AI datacenter chips
ADTechnology said on Monday it signed a 40 billion won turnkey contract with a U.S. AI fabless company to develop and supply chiplets for a datacenter high-performance computing system-on-chip. The company will handle the full process from design to tape-out and mass production based on Samsung Foundry\'s 4-nanometre process. The project targets an integrated SoC chiplet combining HBM and AI accelerator logic, with tape-out aimed for the fourth quarter of 2026.
