ADATA chairman says memory shortage to last another 10 years, dismisses AI bubble talk
ADATA Chairman Chen Li-bai (천리바이) said the current fears of an AI investment bubble are premature and that a real bubble could only be discussed after 2030. He said demand for AI computing, memory chips and power continues to exceed market forecasts and warned against reading a broader slowdown from isolated signs of overinvestment. He expects memory shortages to persist for the next decade as demand spreads to robots, autonomous cars and smart homes.
