Tech Insight: AI hackers target logic flaws, not code bugs
Kevin Mandia (케빈 맨디아), the founder of Mandiant and CEO of AI security startup Armadin, said AI-driven attacks target logic gaps in business workflows rather than code flaws. He said AI attackers try every possible path in applications. Armadin provides automated security agents and raised $189.9 million in seed and Series A funding led by Accel. Mandia said Armadin found more than 90 zero-day vulnerabilities at Fortune 500 clients since January.

Robotics AI startup Generalist AI raises $200 million
Robotics AI startup Generalist AI has raised an additional $200 million in funding. A SiliconANGLE report citing Axios said the round was led by 8VC, with some existing investors also participating. The funding comes about a week after the company unveiled its new AI model, Gen-1.5, designed for robot arms. The model aims to sharply cut the time needed to build factory automation workflows.

AI coding startup Cognition raises over $1 billion at $25 billion valuation, ARR nears $492 million
AI coding startup Cognition raised more than $1 billion at a pre-money valuation of $25 billion. TechCrunch reported the valuation marked a sharp rise from an October post-money valuation of $10.2 billion after a $400 million funding round in September last year. Cognition develops Devin, an autonomous AI software engineer. The round was led by Lux Capital and General Catalyst, with participation from Founders Fund and 8VC, among others.
