Donut Lab spotlights cooling design for 11-minute fast-charging solid-state battery motorcycle
Donut Lab released additional details on the battery structure and charging performance of the Verge TS Pro second-generation electric motorcycle equipped with a solid-state battery. The model supports 100 kW-class DC fast charging, taking about 11 minutes to charge from 10 percent to 80 percent. Donut Lab solid-state battery passes first verification, but heat poses challenge

A report by Finland\'s state-owned VTT Technical Research Centre verified ultra-fast charging, with a 26Ah single cell reaching 0 to 80 percent in 4 minutes 30 seconds at 11C. The tests also showed clear temperature increases and a pause when a safety limit was reached, underscoring the need for heat management. Other key claims remain unverified.
