South Korea launches public-private task force for K-GX green transition plan
South Korea launched a joint public-private K-GX task force on Jan. 28 at the Korea Chamber of Commerce and Industry with related ministries and key industry associations. The task force will lead policy discussions and promote cooperation as the government drafts a K-GX strategy to turn efforts to meet the 2035 national greenhouse gas reduction target into growth opportunities. The government presented transition priorities and support packages, and said it will announce the strategy in the first half of this year.
