OpenAI, SBS to use generative AI in June 3 local election vote count broadcast
OpenAI Korea said on May 18 it has signed a business agreement with broadcaster SBS to apply generative AI to SBS’ special June 3 local election vote count programme, “2026 The People’s Choice”. The companies plan to combine SBS’ election broadcast production capabilities with OpenAI’s technology to quickly analyse and process large volumes of real-time data on election day and deliver it to viewers in a simple format.
