ETRI expands open source consultative body across government-funded research institutes
South Korea\'s Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute said on Monday it will expand the operation of its open source consultative body to respond to complex risks including licensing disputes, security vulnerabilities and AI training data copyright issues. ETRI, which led the launch of the consultative body among government-funded research institutes in August 2022, said it will broaden it from this year to spread governance success cases and strengthen cooperation linked to national mid- to long-term science and technology policy.
