NCSoft to change company name to 'NC' at March shareholders meeting

NCSoft will change its corporate name to 'NC' for the first time since its founding in 1997, with the proposal to be decided at a shareholders meeting on March 26. The company disclosed a notice convening the meeting that includes the agenda item. The meeting will be held at its headquarters in Seongnam, Gyeonggi Province. Other items include charter amendments reflecting revisions to commercial law, a cash dividend of 1,150 won per share, and outside director appointments.

Michael Saylor says bitcoin will be bigger than gold by 2035

Strategy Chairman Michael Saylor said bitcoin will surpass gold’s market capitalisation by 2035. He said bitcoin’s fixed supply and issuance mechanism underpin long-term value, with about 99 percent of all bitcoin expected to be mined by 2035 and the remaining 1 percent released gradually over the next century. Bitcoin’s market value is about $1.31 trillion versus gold’s $36 trillion, implying a 2,649 percent price rise to match it.

Anthropic security tool unveiling keeps leading cybersecurity stocks falling

Cybersecurity stocks in the United States fell for a second straight day after Anthropic introduced Claude Code Security, an AI-based security tool. CNBC reported that shares of major companies including CrowdStrike, Zscaler and Netskope dropped sharply following the announcement. Several other security firms also declined, and an iShares cybersecurity and tech ETF fell. CrowdStrike CEO George Kurtz said AI innovation was welcome but argued code-scanning AI cannot replace existing security platforms.
