Cafe24 launches PRO trial space, generates store mockups from URL

Global e-commerce platform Cafe24 said on Jan. 19 it launched the “Cafe24 PRO trial space,” allowing users to instantly preview and test a customised online store by entering a website address. The system analyses the site, classifies it into one of 30 categories and generates core pages such as the home page, product details and order forms. It also offers automated marketing copy and a preview of its delivery service, and provides five design types and a 43-language mockup feature.

Veeam Software appoints Hong Seong-gu as new head of Korea office

Veeam Software said on Jan. 19 it has appointed Hong Seong-gu as the new head of its Korea office. The data resilience solutions company said it provides resilience, security, governance and privacy solutions to help ensure safety, compliance and auditability in large-scale AI environments. Hong has more than 29 years of experience in enterprise technology, having previously led the Korea operations of DataStax and MariaDB Corporation and held senior sales roles at Oracle, Palo Alto Networks, F5 Networks and BMC Software.

Miso Information Technology's SmartMDQ named innovation product by Science and ICT Ministry

Miso Information Technology said its SmartMDQ data quality diagnosis service has been designated an innovation product by South Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT after recognition of its technological innovation and public value. The company said SmartMDQ can be introduced through the Public Procurement Service's innovation procurement platform and can be tested through a pilot procurement scheme. It provides automated error detection, data validation and standard-based management for public-sector data.
