Leica Camera has unveiled the Noctilux-M 1:1.2/35 ASPH., the first lens in its Noctilux series to adopt a 35mm angle of view. It expands the series’ image rendering from the existing 50mm and 75mm focal lengths to 35mm for use in portraits, reportage and street photography. The lens offers shallow depth of field, soft bokeh and a 50 cm minimum focus distance, and is designed and hand-built in Wetzlar, Germany.
