Apple is expected to be preparing more than 10 new products ahead of its September product launch event. The iPhone 18 and a new Apple Watch are among them. AirPods, Apple TV and smart home products such as the HomePod have also been cited as possible unveilings.

On Aug. 19 (local time), IT outlet 9to5Mac reported that Apple’s September event is likely to be centered on the iPhone 18 series and new Apple Watch models.

The most likely products are the iPhone 18 Pro, iPhone 18 Pro Max and iPhone Ultra. For Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4 are expected to be unveiled.

The iPhone and Apple Watch are the core products of Apple’s September event every year, making them the most likely to be unveiled again this time.

A new wireless earphone model could also join the lineup. Apple is said to be preparing next-generation AirPods equipped with an infrared camera, and the product name has been cited as possibly AirPods Pro 4. A device believed to be the product was spotted in a recently leaked macOS 26.7 video, adding weight to expectations of a launch. Apple’s past practice of unveiling AirPods alongside new iPhones is another factor raising the possibility of a September release.

Another point to watch is the smart home lineup. Four products have been cited as possible releases as early as next month: a new Apple TV 4K, HomePad, HomePod mini 2 and HomePod 3. If new HomePad and HomePod models appear at the same time, it could signal that Apple is moving in earnest to expand its in-home smart device ecosystem beyond the iPhone, Apple Watch and AirPods.

Some products are still uncertain to appear at the September event. An iPad mini with an OLED display, a home security camera and a new Mac lineup have also been cited as candidates, but some of them are said to be more likely to be unveiled in October than in September.

Based on current expectations, products with a high likelihood of a September unveiling include the iPhone 18 series, new Apple Watch models, next-generation AirPods, and Apple TV and HomePod family devices. If additional products are added, the number of products unveiled could exceed 10.

Apple’s September event is seen each year as its biggest stage for hardware announcements. Interest is focused on whether Apple will go beyond routine new product launches for the iPhone 18 and Apple Watch and significantly expand the lineup into audio and smart home devices this year as well.

The event date has not yet been officially announced, but it has been raised as a possibility that it will be revealed next week. How many new products Apple will actually introduce at once in September, and whether any unexpected products will appear, are expected to be key points to watch.
