Estsecurity unveils Alyac Agentic EDR linked to LG K-EXAONE AI model

[DigitalToday reporter Chi-gyu Hwang] Estsecurity, a security subsidiary of AI services company East Soft, said on Monday it will launch its endpoint detection and response solution, Alyac Agentic EDR, integrated with the K-EXAONE AI model unveiled by LG AI Research for a government-led independent foundation model project.

The company said Alyac Agentic EDR goes beyond a simple conversational chatbot by including an AI agent that supports the entire security pipeline. The AI agent embedded in the EDR autonomously performs tasks from real-time threat detection and reconstructing attack timelines to recommending optimal responses and writing reports.

Estsecurity said its own tests showed the average analysis time per detected attack was reduced by about 8 seconds compared with before the AI agent was introduced. It also showed report writing speed improved by more than 60 times. The company also stressed that 80 percent of analysis work was automated.

Alyac Agentic EDR adopts a Human in the Loop structure that requires final approval by security staff for key control actions such as terminating processes, providing a safety mechanism for AI autonomy. It supports compliance with National Intelligence Service and Korea Internet and Security Agency guidelines and also supports on-premises network-separated environments.

Jung Sang-won (정상원), chief executive of Estsecurity, said the company has commercialised a security solution based on an independent AI foundation model by combining East Soft’s AI technology with Estsecurity’s security capabilities. He said it will lead a next-generation K-AI security ecosystem, starting with the public sector market where compliance is important, through the AI agent-based Alyac Agentic EDR.
