Fadu said on Monday it will begin hiring junior talent from Aug. 10. The company said it plans an open recruitment process open to new graduates and experienced hires with up to 8 years of experience, as a strategy to maintain technological competitiveness in the rapidly expanding AI data centre market.

Fadu will recruit a double-digit number of new and experienced hires across three roles: firmware development, firmware validation and test engineering. The move is intended to secure key technical talent essential to the system semiconductor production process. It will give preference to applicants with embedded experience across both hardware and software.

Applications open on Aug. 10, followed by a coding test in late August. Interviews will be held in September, with hiring expected in November. Fadu said it runs performance-based evaluation and compensation, including early promotions and substantial incentives, to provide an environment in which new hires can grow quickly. It also operates a system to share part of operating profit with employees.

Fadu is South Korea's only fabless semiconductor company supplying controllers, which it said serve as the brain of AI data centre SSDs, to multiple global hyperscalers. After turning profitable in the first quarter this year, it posted second-quarter revenue of 73.2 billion won and operating profit of 16.3 billion won. In the first half, it recorded combined revenue of 132.7 billion won and operating profit of 24.0 billion won, entering a profitable growth trajectory.
