AI and cloud company MegazoneCloud said on Aug. 10 it has launched an education programme for teenagers interested in technology.

MegazoneCloud held the first Global Tech Youth Leadership Forum from Aug. 5 to Aug. 7 at the Megazone Industry-Academia-Research Center in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, for middle and high school children of employees.

The programme included exploring the AI and cloud industry and career paths, developing leadership and teamwork, hands-on practice using generative AI, and AI-based projects to solve social problems. It focused on helping teenagers understand the potential of AI technology and its proper use, and build the qualities of global leaders who consider creating social value through AI technology.

MegazoneCloud plans to gradually expand the scope and scale of participants and make the programme regular, strengthening its free education initiatives to foster next-generation talent.

MegazoneCloud CEO Dong-hoon Yeom (염동훈) said, "I hope it served as an opportunity for teenagers to go beyond simply learning AI technology and understand its value as a technology that changes society." He said the company will continue to expand support for youth IT education so they can grow into future leaders who understand technology properly and use it to change the world for the better.
