HashKey Exchange has received approval from JPMorgan to open client fund accounts.
Cointelegraph reported on Aug. 3 that HashKey Holdings, the exchange’s parent company, said the approved accounts support segregated custody and settlement of client funds based on JPMorgan’s banking infrastructure.
HashKey Exchange previously activated client fund accounts at Singapore’s DBS bank on June 30. It began providing fiat deposit and withdrawal and settlement services through them.
HashKey Holdings listed in Hong Kong last December. It raised $206 million through an initial public offering that was oversubscribed at the time.
