SAP Korea said on Monday it signed a memorandum of understanding with global payment technology company Visa to support corporate customers' digital transformation and innovation in B2B payments.
The companies plan to cooperate with South Korean firms operating global businesses or expanding overseas, as well as firms using legacy systems. They also plan to pursue a collaboration model to support corporate digital transformation by linking Visa's global payment network and corporate card products and services as companies adopt SAP enterprise solutions.
They also agreed to work together from the sales stage, including identifying corporate customers and jointly proposing solutions tailored to customers' business environments.
Kim Cheol-hong (김철홍), head of SAP Korea, said corporate digital transformation today requires innovation across core operating processes, including finance, expenses and procurement, beyond system implementation. He said combining SAP's enterprise solution capabilities and Visa's global payment network will provide South Korean companies expanding global business with an integrated innovation experience spanning business processes and the payment environment.
