Vlad.fun, a memecoin launchpad based on Robinhood Chain, has halted operations after confirming a serious integrity issue within its team. Cointelegraph reported on Wednesday that Vlad.fun took the platform offline to investigate the incident and review potential legal action against those responsible.
Vlad.fun said the issue involved members of its own team, but did not disclose the nature of the alleged violations.
Hours before it announced the halt, a token bearing the Vlad.fun platform name was on the leaderboard, but Vlad.fun warned that it was not an official token. It did not say whether the warning was related to the internal issue.
Robinhood launched Robinhood Chain on July 1, an Arbitrum-based Ethereum layer-2. The Robinhood Chain network is targeting tokenised stocks, real-world assets and on-chain financial services as key areas.
