Coca-Cola has temporarily suspended production operations in the United States at its dairy subsidiary Fairlife after a ransomware attack.

TechCrunch reported on July 16 that Coca-Cola said in a U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission filing that Fairlife suffered a hacking incident and that its production systems were also affected.

Fairlife's U.S. production operations are currently suspended. Its Canadian business was not affected by the attack.

Coca-Cola did not disclose when it expects to restore its production systems. It also did not say how long the production halt will last.

Fairlife is one of Coca-Cola's major dairy brands, and its 2024 revenue is estimated at about $4 billion.
