MoonPay, which provides fiat currency-based cryptocurrency payment services, has acquired crypto infrastructure startup Glide.
Cointelegraph reported on Wednesday that MoonPay will integrate Glide’s deposit and routing technology into its MoonPay Deposit to strengthen cross-chain crypto deposit infrastructure.
The acquisition is part of a strategy to expand its business scope beyond payments to a provider of digital asset infrastructure. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 2023, Glide has focused on supporting application deposit flows so funds can be received from different tokens, wallets, exchanges and payment methods. It supports more than 100 tokens on 30 blockchain networks.
MoonPay Chief Executive and co-founder Ivan Soto-Wright (이반 소토-라이트) said the acquisition should help reduce problems in which users lose funds by sending the wrong token on the wrong chain.
Glide is the sixth acquisition MoonPay has announced in 2026. MoonPay previously announced acquisitions of Soldot, Decent, Dflow, Ntendre, and Dawn Labs.
